CLOSURE SCHEDULE

PUSD Board of Education has voted to extend school closures until May 5th. (Spring Break remains scheduled as planned.)

 

STUDENT MEALS

Come stop by for FREE Breakfast & Lunch! (For children under the age of 18)

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, students do NOT have to be present to pick up a breakfast and lunch. Again, students do NOT have to be present to pick up breakfast and lunch. You also do not need to provide ID nor a student number unless you are requesting an unusual amount. Then we will need to verify.

Meals will continue to be provided at the four schools, Collins, Mokler, Los Cerritos and Wirtz.

A partir de mañana, miércoles, los estudiantes NO tienen que estar presentes para recoger un desayuno y almuerzo. Una vez más, los estudiantes NO tienen que estar presentes para recoger el desayuno y el almuerzo. Tampoco es necesario que muestren identificación ni den un número de estudiante a menos que esté solicitando una cantidad inusual. Entonces tendremos que verificar.

Las comidas continuarán siendo proporcionadas en las cuatro escuelas, Collins, Mokler, Los Cerritos y Wirtz.

COMPUTER or CHROMEBOOK device support

STUDENT AND STAFF CHROMEBOOK/COMPUTER TECHNICAL SUPPORT

To assist our students with technical issues during these difficult times, the School District is providing technology support to students that have software and hardware issues.  Students can access a support line at 562-602-6084  or email at pusdstudentsupport@paramount.k12.ca.us for program and software issues.  Additionally, District technology staff has set up a Chromebook technical support area in the District office (ROP Portable).  Starting Monday, March 23rd, parents and students will be able to bring their District issued Chromebooks that are non-functional or having technical issues for repair or replacement at no charge. Technical services will be provided daily from 8:00am to 10:30am in the portable building located in the parking lot of the District office.  We will be communicating this and more with Paramount families this weekend.

Drop-Off Repair Program for non-functional or technical issues

  • Times: M-F 8:00 through 10:30 AM
  • Location: District office parking “ROP Portable” (Enter from Orizaba Ave.)
 
 

STUDENT INTERNET ACCESS

  • Check your cell phones Many data plans allow cell devices to broadcast a Wi-Fi signal so that your Chromebooks and Computers can receive internet from your cell phone.
